Well Damo you must admit the whole thing looks a bit tenuous and even preposterous… i mean-come on…killin over 900 men in a fight? swords in stones? its like turnin water into wine or feedin five thousand ppl with a few fish…then again who would have thought a piece of poor white trash born in a one-room shack in mississippi would go from nothing to world domination in less than 18 months singin nigger-music in a country where niggers and white trash had the status of dalits?
actually shes got the wrong end of the stick altogether- fact is if you idle rich didnt have so much time on yr hands you wouldnt even arrive at these ridiculous ideas…..x

On the linked discussions to this article the photograph is of the River Calder on Towneley fields not the River Brun.
The Brun only joins the Calder in Burnley town centre.

Lucky you – Here in white rose county its far from a bumper crop of autumns finest fruit. Good luck with the winę. Personally i would opt for cordial as it maintains the flavour of the berries and wreaks less havoc on the liver xx
